Currently LONGLAB is conducting four funded projects on wireless sensor networks and embedded systems, network processing and processors, disruption tolerant networks (DTN), and QoS awareness and adaptative middleware sponsored by National Science Foundation (NSF), Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development via PITA, Agere Systems, Inc., and Lindback Foundation.
Past research projects include optical networking and IEEE 802.11 wireless bandwidth modeling supported by Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development via COT and Internet2 (Network Research Facilitation Project Award).
LONGLAB members have more than 60 peer-reviewed publications in the above-mentioned research areas, including book chapters, journal and conference papers.
